“Med” Diet for me also means Metabolic Diet - choosing a combination of foods that aim to reset and maintain healthy metabolism. Metabolic diets emphasize reducing your carbohydrate intake, but also increasing proteins and nutrient rich foods. The overall goal of metabolic-centered diets is to create lasting changes in your diet and lifestyle.
